Roasted Broccoli

I should have named this recipe “trees for tots.” My little one was once a picky eater. I told her that I made her tiny little trees and that she better not eat them all. Well folks, she devoured them. This is a quick recipe that is delicious and healthy for all.


  • 4 cups chopped broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • pinch of salt


Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2

Chop broccoli into small pieces and place on baking sheet. Add olive oil and salt and mix it all together. Taste a piece of broccoli to make sure you added enough salt.

Step 3

Spread them out and then roast for 25 minutes. At the 10 minute mark, check the broccoli and stir with tongs. Cook for 10 more minutes and check them again. Once they start to get crispy they are ready.
